SET-UP FEE: a one time fee
The initial set up fee will be based on the amount of work required to design and build your site. Small sites will be charged a smaller fee than large sites. To determine your initial set-up fee I will need to know how much work your site will require. Have you written the text already, or will we be making it up as we go? If you have the text already (like a brochure) that's a good starting place. Do you have pictures? Will you e-mail me the text & pictures, or will I have to re-type from your brochure and scan each picture? Do you need me to come out and take pictures? Do you think your website about the size of mine? Bigger? Smaller? I will give you a price for set-up when I know how much work you require.
The initial set-up fee includes:
~ Designing your site, including layout, text, pictures, editing for grammar and clarity. Of course, I will ask you before changing your text. They're your words, after all!
~ Suggestions for improving your site.
~ Statistics and information about your site, if wanted (free tracking, private tracking will cost more)
~ Instruction on some simple things you can do to promote & enhance your site

DOMAIN NAME FEE: an annual fee
I prefer to reserve your domain name myself, so it will be easier for me to webmaster for your site. If you ever want to transfer your domain elsewhere and change webmasters, I will be happy to do so. The Domain Name Fee varies depending on the number of years for which you reserve the domain name.

HOSTING FEE: an annual fee
The annual hosting fee will vary according to the size of the website.

HOURLY RATE:
After your site is set-up, you will be charged only for time spent updating your site when you request a change or update. I keep detailed records of my time and charge you only for time spent working on your web site. I round off the time to the nearest 1/4 hour.
~The hourly rate will apply to all changes you request after the initial set up is complete. That could be adding pictures, text, extra pages, or any other changes to your site.
~ I will always fix typographical errors for free.

EXTRA CHARGES:
I will do my best to let you know ahead of time of any extra charges. These may include, but are not limited to: extra charges for a site that grows larger than 30mb, charges for special features that you request. My site has many pictures and pages and is <30mb, so I do not anticipate any extra charges. You will reimburse me for any charges I incur on your behalf.
